About Secaucus, NJ Real Estate Market

Spread over 6.54 square miles, Secaucus has a population of over 16,000 and is present within the New Jersey Meadowlands. This town from Hudson County in New Jersey state derives its name from the Algonquian words for ‘black’ and ‘snake’, which makes its literal translation as ‘place of snakes’. It has this name due to the presence of Snake Hill in the southern part of the town, near the New Jersey Turnpike.

Among these places of interest, North End is one of the oldest residential areas of Secaucus, with it having houses of a majority of the upper-class population forming a part of New Jersey real estate.
